Chael Sonnen has gone on an astonishing rant aimed in the direction of Alex Pereira and Francis Ngannou.
‘The American Gangster’ is never one to shy away from engaging in a war of words.
Recently, Sonnen explained why he’s still embarrassed to have lost to Tito Ortiz, in what made for a brutal swipe at ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’.
And now, he’s set his sights on two of the most devastating punchers in combat sports history.

Chael Sonnen makes bizarre threat to Francis Ngannou and Alex Pereira
Chael Sonnen is undoubtedly one of the best trash talkers to have ever lived, with his witty one-liners still adored by fans to this very day. While he’s now happily retired from competition, he’s not opposed to throwing out the odd verbal jab every now and then. During a recent interview with Submission Radio, he reminded everyone of just how amusing he can be, with a verbal onslaught, that, while potentially intended for no purpose other than providing humor, will still likely capture Francis Ngannou and Alex Pereira’s attention. The American said: “Can I tell you something? You started this journey down what would’ve happened lane, with a tweet from a fan, that asked, if I could’ve fought anybody, and that answer would be easy, it would be Francis Ngannou, that mouthy little p—-. “I have to tell you this, he’s a very big man, and I can’t say that he’s picking on somebody out of his prime. “We’re very close to the same age. I am almost 50, he’s almost 50. They list him at 36, one thing we can agree on, he’s at least 36. Nobody knows how old Francis is, number one. “Number two, he’s a bigger man than me. It doesn’t matter if that’s in the playground or not—the fourth grader should not be bullying the first grader. They just should not do that. “I will take his bigness, I will shove it right up his a–. How dare Francis Ngannou, as an active athlete, come to a mere commentator, who’s just sitting back and doing his best to observe something and then speak on it. “Another one, if I don’t get Chama, I’ve got two gators, one for each of their nuts—-. “I would drop Francis with a n– shot, I would drop Pereira with a n– shot. I’d walk off laughing and go right about my day, like they weren’t even lying there crying, ‘Mr Sonnen, Why’? ‘Chama, that’s why’.”
Chael Sonnen makes major complaint about the way Alex Pereira trains
While Sonnen’s threats may have been empty, this isn’t the first time he’s voiced his displeasure at ‘Poatan’. Since hanging up the gloves, the Oregon grappler has become a well-respected analyst. Utilizing his sporting IQ and eloquent vocabulary, he’s able to provide fascinating breakdowns. In addition, he’s also able to notice things in training that he doesn’t like, with Sonnen recently expressing his concerns about Pereira.
Bo Nickal recently opened up on the possibility of Dricus cu Plessis coming up with a game plan to counter Khamzat Chimaev's wrestling. Nickal also rated his wrestling pedigree close to Chimaev. Du Plessis has earned victories over a few UFC fighters with a good ground game, including Derek Brunson. The reigning middleweight champ also boasts a couple of submission victories in the UFC on account of his commendable ground game. However, cu Plessis's general approach to a fight indicates that he prefers a stand-and-strike style fight over a wrestling-heavy one. On the contrary, du Plessis' upcoming rival, Chimaev, has shot for takedowns in the first rounds of the majority of his UFC encounters. After several previous instances, 'Borz' proved his wrestling pedigree again at UFC 308 with a dominant victory over Robert Whittaker in the first round. Nickal recently weighed in on the du Plessis vs. Chimaev fight in one of his recent interviews with Home Of Fight. Afte...
Topuria vacated his featherweight belt on the UFC's promise of a title fight. After some deliberation from Team Makhachev, it would seem a deal is being finalized, with Topuria announcing his camp has begun. Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov believes Arman Tsarukyan is a tougher challenge for Islam Makhachev than Ilia Topuria. "My personal opinion—it’s not that [Topuria] is dangerous, let’s just say Tsarukyan is more competitive. I think Arman is a tougher fighter than Topuria. Topuria’s a good fighter at 66 kg, but we’ve never seen him at 70. I believe Arman poses a bigger challenge for Islam than Topuria. I don’t know what kind of deal Topuria has with the UFC. But from Islam’s perspective, he’s already given chances to two 66-kg champions—and beat both. Now giving a third one… Let’s say Topuria moves up and gets an immediate title shot. Islam beats him. Then Topuria fights once more and loses again. So he’d have never been anyone at 70 kg, and Islam would...
Jon Jones has come out of the woodwork to ‘flex’ on his opposition, after Alex Pereira failed his fourth light heavyweight title defense against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313. Jones was one of several names Pereira considered had he defeated Ankalaev, and now it looks like that fight is far from possible. ‘Poatan’ suffered a lackluster decision loss to ‘Big Ank,’ and with it, any momentum that would have secured him a UFC super fight. ‘Bones’ is primed to defend his heavyweight strap against rightful challenger Tom Aspinall. But before he does that, he wants to gloat about his accomplishments in the UFC. ‘Small flex’ … Jon Jones boasts about title defense record after Alex Pereira loses title On Instagram on March 10, Jones shared an image reading, “More title defences than every other current male champion combined” with a picture of himself roaring inside the Octagon. In his caption, Jones inserted a shrugging emoji and followed up with a comment, saying, “Small flex.” Jon Jones share...
